Elementary School Level PASS Destinations

As students complete PASS units, they have the opportunity to visit “destinations” that provide fun and informative looks at various topics related to Louisiana. Aside from the break students can enjoy after working hard at PASS, these destinations provide additional benefits to students as well.

  • Additional practice reading and comprehending text, including opportunities to build vocabulary

  • Research skills that come from pursuing the Web links built in to each PASS destination

  • Opportunities to learn more about the geography, history, and culture of Louisiana

Now these same destinations are available to teachers for classroom use. To access the PASS elementary school destinations, click on one of the links below. If you’d like to suggest additional PASS destinations or just share ideas for how to use these destinations in class, click here.

PLEASE NOTE! When selecting a destination, you must use your browser's "back" button to return to the teacher's lounge. The destination pages do NOT contain a "return" or "back" button.
